Business owners, residents, neighborhood organizations, property owners and others interested in the viability of the Colfax Corridor formed the West Colfax Community Association. The goals of the organization are to:

1. Enhance the economic vitality of the area of West Colfax Avenue;
   
2. Provide opportunities to residents, neighborhood groups, business people and commercial property owners to work together to enhance the health of the area;
   
3. Implement projects to improve the image of the area;
   
4. Organize events to bring people to the area for shopping and recreation.
   

The Association holds monthly meetings on the third Wednesday of the month at 7:30 in the morning. Location may vary; check the "Agenda of Next Meeting" page for the most recent location.

The area policing team, planners from the City of Lakewood Planning and Economic Development Department, and your council representatives bring us up-to-date on activities in the Corridor. Meetings end at 9:00 am. Coffee and donuts are served.
